The Vertu Signature Touch mobile phone has an insane price tag, but the price to get this mobile phone is pretty much worth it in just about every aspect. If you’re going to shell out a whole lot of money just to purchase this phone, then you’re either that crazy or you’ve really made it in life, or it could be both. Vertu’s flagship mobile phone is pretty much the most powerful smartphone in today’s market. Max Pogliani, CEO of the company, states that “it is the most complete Vertu smartphone that we have ever produced,” and they’re probably not kidding about it.
The Vertu Signature Touch is the Most Powerful Smartphone of Today, at a Huge Price
The Vertu Signature Touch has a titanium finish with an Android 5.1 operating system. It has an octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset with a decent 4GB of RAM. It also has 64GB of internal storage space and has an external microSD card slot that can allocate more storage up to an amazing 2TB. In today’s big names in the smartphone industry, many mobile phone companies find it a problem maximizing their phone’s external storage feature. Vertu has no problem doing that.
The Signature Touch looks much like its predecessor, albeit it is a bit bigger with a 5.2-inch display. It sports a 1080p LCD screen which is a notable jump from the smaller 4.7-inch older brother. While still on the topic of its screen, it is made of a scratch-proof sapphire.
There is also a very generous 3,160 mAH battery which makes for longer standby and usage time for the phone.
Also worth mentioning is that it has a Quick Charge 2.0 feature, and a support for more LTE bands than the average smartphone. It can even support up to 300 Mbps of downlink via carrier integration. Now who does not want faster Internet download speeds?
Carrying over from its predecessor are the cool ceramic ear pillow, front-facing stereo speakers, NFC, aptX Bluetooth audio, and Qi wireless charging functionalities.
The mobile phone’s rear camera imaging sensors are also really good which creates sharp smartphone photographs at 21-megapixel resolution. It has an aperture of f/2.2 which makes for pretty decent low-light shots but there are others who can do better. While the entire phone is powerful, the front facing cam is not since owners are still stuck with the old 2.1-megapixel front cam.
Just about everything about the Vertu Signature Touch screams about power. While there are some features in which other smartphones from other brands can do better, overall, Vertu’s flagship phone is indeed worth its insane price tag.
