The Samsung UE65HU7500 sports a native 4K UHD native resolution which can be viewed with its 65-inch (measured diagonally) panel. It has hardware elements that are a few steps down from some of the company’s flagship UHD TVs, but it still benefits from Samsung’s full Smart TV system and a bunch of features that users will be able to enjoy. All of which will come with a price that can make anyone’s wallet bleed.
The Samsung UE65HU7500 Presents Amazing 2D and 3D Picture Quality
Far from the current standards of the company’s chosen designs for their high-end TVs, the Samsung UE65HU7500 is pretty much a straightforward-looking unit. Although it looks pretty standard, it is well-built and getting a feel of it will immediately and undoubtedly tell you how solid it is. It has a black frame surrounding the screen, which is offset by an attractive metallic silver trim.
The unit comes with a centrally attached angular desktop stand, which makes the TV become more distinctive if you opt to use it. However, like the TV itself, the stand is not as eye-catching as the “boomerang” variants that you can find on Samsung’s curved TVs.
When it comes to connections, the UE65HU7500 comes plenty of them. Even if there’s no built-in camera that can be found on the company’s own HU8500 flagship TV line, this particular unit comes with four HDMI ports that support UHD playback at 60p. Each of them also have the UHD-focused HDCP 2.2 copy-protection system.
Aside from the HDMI connections, there are also three USB ports that can be used for playback of photo, music, and video files with the use of a USB thumb drive. These USB ports can also be used to record to external hard drives from the TV’s Freeview HD and Freesat HD tuners.
Setting it all up is pretty straightforward, and when you do have everything set up properly, you will be rewarded with superb image quality, and quite possibly unlike any other. Samsung really pulled out the shots in revealing the extra sharpness and detail that can be found in 4K UHD footage. Those UHD sources will look phenomenally rich in texture and are very densely populated with pixels. Contrast is densely populated and rich, and is complemented with supreme sharpness, that there is no trace of pixel or line structure.
The Samsung UE65HU7500 delivers a performance that gives you something close to reality rather than seeing pictures on a TV. This is even further enhanced when watching 3D footage. So even though it has a price tag that can very well break any bank account, it is worth every penny you spend on it.
