If you know your YouTube, and you’ve been following “Let’s Play” netizens on said website, then perhaps you’ve known about PewDiePie and his own new game, PweDiePie’s Legend of the Brofist. This was once a mobile game and can now be accessible for the PC. It is a classic-style arcade game that reflects into the era of all that gaming has to offer throughout the generations. If you think that it’s that bad right off the bat just because of its 8-bit graphics, then think again. In truth, everything about it feels pretty much OK.
PewDiePie’s Legend of the Brofist Brings Us Farts
If you still find farts funny despite being a responsible adult when you’re reading this, then you’re going to love PewDiePie’s Legend of the Brofist. It contains farts, and lots of it. The game features the YouTube star himself, albeit in a computer-graphical format reminiscent of the SNES. He bears his own form as a sprite that bears not even a passing resemblance.
In Legend of the Brofist, PewDiePie must discover why some evil barrels are all attacking him relentlessly and are seemingly destroying all his views from his videos on YouTube. For the most of us, there might be a lot of inside jokes here and there throughout the game that leaves us to question “why was that in there in the first place?” But for the YouTube legend’s loyal fans, they might find these utterly hilarious.
There are even portions of the game that may even tell about the YouTube star’s life. Once again, for a lot of us, we don’t know that he lives with his girlfriend, which is another YouTuber by the name of Marzia Bisogrin. Also, they also live with some pugs. But in this game, you will find them buried beneath piles of clothes.
So what does the game have to offer? Think about his girlfriend and those pugs for a minute that are buried in mounds of clothes. You will rush to them (as PewDiePie), dig through those piles, while jumping on barrels’ heads until you’re done. A lot of things in the game involves these barrels, and for the most part, it’s actually quite fun.
While PewDiePie’s Legend of the Brofist is not stunning in the sense that you have to share it with your friends with absolute glee, it’s one of those games that are a great conversation starter. It’s not a must-buy either, but it does form a respectable platform game to be placed inside your library.
