Jet Set Radio is Now Available for the PC

The theme behind Jet Set Radio is riddled with manga-based hip hop. What separates this game from the rest is not just its clever mix of action and rollerblading-action, it boasts one of the best videogame soundtracks of all time. Those who have already played this game before will feel internally happy, and may even jump for joy with absolute glee. There were several bugs that prevented players from experiencing the full offerings of this game, but it did not stop this action/sports title to become one of the best there is.

For those who are new to the Jet Set Radio (PC) setting, you will take control of the many characters surrounding the funky GG crew. This is a squad that marks their territory by spray-painting their logo over territories of rival gangs while doing a number of tricks with their rollerblading skills. Each character has their own special attributes and skill set. Therefore, how you are able to complete a mission will vary from character to character.

So what’s new in the PC version of this year 2000 masterpiece of a videogame? In truth, nothing much; however, the graphics have been greatly improved to fit the standards of modern-day videogame requirements. It will support resolutions of up to 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and will be presented in 16:9 widescreen format. Mid to higher gaming rigs can happily handle the game with 30 fps.

Furthermore, since the dawn of online gaming, almost every game out there now sports an achievement system, and this one is no exception. There are over two dozen Steam achievements that completionists will try their mightiest to get them all. For what? For absolute bragging rights; there are some achievements that are harder to accomplish than others. So ready those fingers as you make that perfect jump or do other skillful tricks to earn every achievement in the game.

Jet Set Radio is built with a funky way of gaming that has an excellent soundtrack. For those who are early fans of the game will be happy to play this once more in glorious HD. If you are just a fan of action titles that also has an array of catchy tunes, pick this game up.
