Although, recently Microsoft losses a battle in trademark which involves Skype to Sky but the company’s officials indicates that they pay Sky so that the Skype name will continue to use the brand name Skype.
But presumably the loss has little to do with why Microsoft will re-brand the Skype Wi-fi into Microsoft Wi-Fi. The re-branding is perhaps because of the company’s “One Microsoft” push since the company is serious about giving consumers the best of what it can give that is why they make sure that the services they offer will give the consumer total value for money and satisfaction guarantee.
