The HTC One M10 was recently teased by the company as their next flagship smartphone from a tweet that seems to be a phone sporting a chamfered metal body. Said Twitter tweet includes the company’s logo and the hashtag #powerof10. As of late, there is a company executive that cites the impressive performance about their upcoming smartphone.
The HTC One M10 Promises to Change the Smartphone Game
During an interview told to CNET, the Chief Financial Officer of HTC, Chialin Chang, stated that they can confidently say that the new HTC phone (the HTC One M10) will create a very, very compelling camera experience. The CFO even justified his belief by adding the statement that they’re making the aforementioned comment after they have already seen what’s going on in the market.
While HTC phones are indeed one of the great competitors in the smartphone market, it is worth noting that their mobile phones are not exactly praised for their camera quality and experience. The Taiwanese company even tried to push their luck with the “UltraPixel” camera technology, but that push didn’t go so well.
On a side note, Chang was also asked if the company had any plans on bringing a smartwatch to the market. He responded that if HTC would come out with a smartwatch, they will turn the industry on its head. That’s a pretty mighty claim considering that the smartwatch market is already littered with great devices. It can offer some skepticism and also a bit of excitement after that last statement.
Going back to the HTC One M10 Smartphone, according to some newer details (at the time of this writing), the upcoming mobile phone will be codenamed “Perfume” and will come into the market with three built-in storage options. The variants will be 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. This information was tweeted by LlabTooFer, who is a developer turned reliable HTC tipster.
Another tipster going by the name of Evan Blass has tweeted about the HTC smartphone’s release date. According to him, the flagship phone will launch in the US sometime in the week of the 9th of May. However, this has not been confirmed yet and such a claim should be taken with a grain of salt.
Based on the preliminary leaks, the HTC One M10 is said to arrive into the market with a 5.2-inch QHD resolution display, and a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. It is also tipped that it will come with a fingerprint scanner, and it is said that it will run on the Sense 8.0 skin powered by the company’s custom Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
