India – To solved its country’s slow internet connection, India is finally launching its $18 billion plan to speed its internet connection, however, there is a problem that comes along with its massive launching; the monkeys in India sees data cables as a sweet tasty treat for them, thus they can’t stop eating it.
Monkeys in the holy city of Varanasi are considered holy. The city is already three thousand years old, all these years the holy city is a home to these monkeys and this monkeys today are eating cables that are supposedly cables that will hasten internet connection of the city. Chasing away these monkeys is not the best idea either.
The communications enginners said that; we cannot move the temples from here. We cannot modify anything here, everything is built up. The monkeys, they destroy all the wires and eat all the wires.
The team even had to replace some of the wires less than two-months after they were installed because those goddamn monkeys couldn’t help themselves.
The project engineers are currently looking for alternative, an underground cable is kind of impossible, given that the city has 2 million people, such a crowded city plus animals and monkeys are everywhere.
What other available alternative? Monkeys, you must know that cables are not cakes.
