Gearbox Software, the developing company of Battleborn, has just recently announced that their Season Pass and Digital Deluxe Edition for the game is now available for purchase. For those who are interested in acquiring the Digital Deluxe Edition, it will be available for pre-purchase for $75 USD for Windows PCs, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One versions of the game. Those who pre-order it will include the Season Pass for the videogame which will include different character customization kits.
Battleborn Digital Deluxe Edition and Season Pass is Now Available for Pre-Purchase
For those who want the Season Pass for Battleborn but does not want the Digital Deluxe Edition can purchase it separately for $20 USD. Acquiring the Season Pass will let players enjoy five extra DLC add-ons post launch. Each of the add-ons will include PvE story missions, new taunts, and exclusive skins.
As for the Battleborn Beta, it has already started and gamers are already participating as we speak. Players who are participating within the beta period will have access to the game’s episodic single player mode, along with its array of multiplayer modes. There are twenty five characters to choose from, and are all made available for players to try and use.
For PlayStation 4 users, there is a special treat just for you, but only for those who are able to participate within the beta period of the game. For those that who do, you will get the first add-on downloadable content (DLC) for free, and you will receive a hero unlock key which you can use on any hero in the full game. PlayStation 4 users will also be able to unlock a new character called “Alani” once she will become available in the game.
Gearbox Software has announced last month that the game has “Gone Gold” and there are plenty of post-launch content on the way. To start, there are free updates in which everyone can enjoy. Therefore, not just beta players or those who get to experience the Digital Deluxe Edition will be the only ones to get to enjoy these but for everyone who owns the copy of the game. From the launch date, there will be 25 characters to choose from, but there are a total of 30 characters. The addition of the 5 more fighters can be acquired at no extra cost for all players.
But not everything is free as Battleborn also has paid DLCs post-launch. These will be five add-on packs and will be priced the same with Borderlands, which means that each add-on pack will cost $4.99.
