ZTE Zmax Pro- The Cheapest High Specced Offering From ZTE

ZTE Zmax pro

ZTE has unveiled a power packed smartphone for just $99 in a niche inundated with mediocre Android smartphones from big brands with ridiculous price tags!

The Zmax Pro comes with a 6-inch full HD display which is protected by Gorilla glass 3, and runs on a Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. To make sure you don’t run out of memory, this nifty phablet comes with a 32GB internal memory and  is topped off with a fingerprint sensor just to let the competition know who’s boss.

A huge 3400mAh battery, with quick charge 3.0 support, will provide the juice for the Zmax Pro, which is estimated to last you an entire day. A 13 Mega Pixel snapper on the rear with Face Detection Auto Focus and a 5-megapixel camera on the front is an added advantage considering the smartphone’s price.

ZTE Zmax pro will run on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box and has support for 4G LTE connectivity. One of the dual-sim card slots can be used as a storage expansion slot, and the memory storage of the device can be expanded with a MicroSD card.

The device also features a Type-C charging port, which is not usually present in the below $200 smartphone segment.

Other affordable smartphones going for less than $100 include BLU R1 HD, LG Leon, DOOGEE Valencia and few others, but none of them could match the specifications that the ZTE Zmax Pro carries.

Even in the $200 segment where the Moto G4 is seen as a winner, this ZTE wonder comes across a formidable contender.

According to ZTE Corporation CEO, Lixin Cheng, the company will be focusing more on making affordable smartphones in the upcoming days.

Looking to get in on the action? The ZTE Zmax Pro will be up for grabs starting on the first of August from all MetroPCS outlets. But if you can’t wait till then, pre-registration will be up until the 31st of July for the price of $99 after a $100 rebate. You also get a free leather case  when you preregister the smartphone.
