Digital security matters to us and that’s why we always try to keep our users posted with all the new apps, software etc. that can be useful to them. Smartphone monitoring is very common these days and many parents and employers are using apps and software to do so, because they are cheaper than other forms of monitoring and therefore, widely used around the world. Recently, I heard of this app XNSPY mobile monitoring software and how it’s taking the parental monitoring by storm. There was a lot of hype and so I felt pertinent to review it.
The overall impression that I got of this app by first visiting its website was not bad. The website was nicely done with all the necessary elements in the right place. There were tabs on the top of the page for compatibility, features, live demo, customer support and so forth. i tried my best to scrutinize every tab and have come up with some important results.
The App Has More Than 25 Features
The most important part of any mobile monitoring app is its features—and not just features but rather useful features. There were a few that got my attention; like the GPS tracker which can be used to track real-time location of the target user. You can also use the GPS to set geo-fences. Basically, geo-fencing is like setting geographical boundaries on the device, using that you can keep your monitored users within a specified area.
Apart from that, the app can track Instant Messengers, something very important to parents for monitoring their kids’ smartphones. You can monitor IM apps like Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Kik,
The app had many basic features like monitoring of calls, SMS, emails, internet browsing history, contacts and calendar entries.
What really got my attention was the XNSPY Remote Control and XNSPY Dashboard app. With the Remote Control, I can lock any monitored device from the control panel. The Dashboard app makes it possible for me to monitor my devices right from my smartphone. You will have to download the XNSPY app from the website, but the Dashboard app can be downloaded from the respective android and iOS app stores.
It’s Really Cheap
I have reviewed many monitoring apps and xnspy seems to be the most affordable amongst them. However, there is another app mSpy that’s offering the same pricing as that of XNSPY. But there was a slight discrepancy. The premium feature of mSpy costs $16.67/month, while that of XNSPY will only cost $12.49/month. In short, XNSPY is the most affordable app in the market.
No Block or Censor Option
Like many others of its kind, this mobile monitoring app, too, doesn’t have any option to block selective apps or programs on the monitored devices. However, there is a Remote Control feature that can be used to lock the target device, or, for wiping data off it.
Final Verdict
The app has its limitations. It’s not the most advanced app out there but with its pricing and features combo, it certainly is a good choice of app for parents and startups.
