Furthermore, it only requires a single tap to access the app’s key features. The 4.0 version promises a more streamlined interface which makes for better, and bigger features to make way for a better driving experience starting 2016.

The new app is still very  much like the same Waze app that a lot of people know and love to use, it’s just that using it now promotes a smoother and more organized experience. This is all thanks to the new ETA panel which will include reports and alternate routes. What’s best about accessing the ETA panel is just it can be done with a single tap.

There’s also the new Smart Calendar feature wherein it will alert users pertaining to incidents that could very well impact their day’s plans before they even leave the house. Such a functionality can also be used as a second reminder app wherein you have to leave on time to get to your destination on time. Perhaps the last, and probably the most useful update pertaining to the app is it now minimizes battery usage. Hence, these significant improvements also adds efficiency when using your Android mobile device.

With the new Waze 4.0 app, it makes for the growth for the commuting app to make it the best driving companion. It is the kind of app that you would want to be always turned on whenever you’re out and about driving around town. The app’s evolution better manages the growing list of features that we are looking for in a navigation companion.
