StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void Release Date Revealed

StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void Release Date Revealed

Just recently, Blizzard had announced the release date for the next installment of their massively popular real-time strategy game, StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void. They have announced that players can purchase the game on November 10th, 2015. The gaming company also had another surprise by setting players up on the hype train with their new game as they’ve also brought in a new trailer for the next StarCraft installment.

Gamers Can Get StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void This November

StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void is said to be the third, and final chapter of the StarCraft 2 line. The saga follows the storyline of the Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm. It is now confirmed that the launch of this final installment will hit computers before the end of the calendar year 2015.

Gamers who don’t want to wait for November 10 can now pre-order the game as pre-orders have already been opened to the public. As an added pre-order bonus, early access to the Legacy of the Void will let players play a special 3 mission prologue entitled “Whispers of Oblivion.”

Looking at the amazing trailer, it is pretty much obvious what the game’s storyline will focus on. The trailer introduces a band of Protoss soldiers trying to reclaim their homeland, Aiur, from the infamous alien menace, the Zerg. The battles that are shown in the cinematic teaser is so amazing that there are those who say that they would even want to see it made into a blockbuster movie.

For a spoiler free explanation on the trailer, one of the highlights of the short clip is when two Protoss soldiers transform to fend off a large Zerg. Just this scene alone would probably be one of Blizzard’s best cinematic experiences to be brought to the public.

When Blizzard announced their next StarCraft game, many gamers would immediately notice the trend on the date. November 10th is also the release date for some of the big games that will be released. Fallout 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider will also release on the same date as with Blizzard’s contender.

While StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void is going to face fierce competition because of their decision about the game’s release date, there are still many fans of the franchise that will be willing to line up on stores just to get their own copy.
