Samsung has recently unveiled the what could be the most affordable 4G capable handset they have right now, the Galaxy J2. For the first time ever, the smartphone company introduces a new feature to their mobile phone line which is the ultra data saving mode.

The budget-friendly Galaxy smartphone was recently launched in Bangalore, India a few days ago. The J2 is the fourth addition to the Samsung’s Galaxy J line. The new handset can be best summed up as a “phone made for India.”

All of these budget-friendly technology comes packaged with an entry-level front and rear camera. The Samsung Galaxy J2 has a 5-megapixel f/2.2 camera at the back and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 front camera. Battery life for the 4G smarthpone is at 2,000 mAh, which is pretty decent considering its price. Users will also be happy as the mobile device will already come with the latest Android 5.1 operating system. These features, along with the new Ultra Data Saving Mode, will let the users of this device to have great 4G connectivity experience at a price that won’t hurt their budget too much. The phone comes from the research and development team from India. The phone was even unveiled to be made with the Indian market in mind. It has the operating system and user interface to meet the many needs of the users within this market. The Ultra Data Saving Mode of the J2 is a new feature introduced to this new handset that has the ability to help users save up on about 50 percent savings on their data plan. It can free up to 11 percent of their RAM, and even extend the phone’s battery life while on standby to up two times its original length.  Samsung’s new Galaxy J2 will be available for purchase starting on September 21. While the mobile device is considered an entry-level smartphone, it boasts more than decent specs and features for users to enjoy 4G capability, and more, without the added hurt for their wallets.
