Red Dead Redemption 2 May be Announced During E3 2016
With the recent announcement to show up at E3 2016, Take-Two Interactive might be expecting a great round of applause should any sign of Red Dead Redemption 2 (click here if you want to know how old is John Marston in RDR2) would be seen. The recent announcement by the two companies participating in this year’s gaming event does create expectations with regards to the game.
Last year, Take-Two Interactive has had a slow year. However, the company seems to be bouncing back this year as they may already have some big plans being cooked up. They have just recently released XCOM 2, and despite it being a PC only title, it was highly acclaimed and has gained positive reviews the world over. Said title is also doing pretty good sales-wise, which gives Take Two a really good start for 2016.
There are speculations that the next installment to the Red Dead Redemption franchise will be a follow up to “Wild West” which launched a few years back. There is also a Vine Report which confirms that Take-Two Interactive, along with Rockstar games, will be presenting on June 12 at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 event. There are already rumors that have been spreading with regards to the details about a second expansion of said title. However, Rockstar Games nor Take-Two have not confirmed that their next featured game will in fact be the 2nd iteration to the popular title.
As per Christian Post, there are other games that would most probably be announced by the two gaming companies. These include Battleborn, Mafia 3, and Civilization Revolution 2 Plus. Nevertheless, the next installment to the popular Red Dead Redemption title might still make an appearance.
According to the rumors encircling the World Wide Web, the next installment to the game will be entitled Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West. It won’t likely be just a PC only title, unlike XCOM 2, but it is also expected to be released for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. If the game should be released within the year, then it will be five years after the original title was released.
