The Nighthawk X4S is claimed to be the fastest dual band router from NETGEAR, but the question is, does it live up to its primary description? Other specifics that the Nighthawk X4S touts is that it sports the newer AC2600 Wi-Fi, which means it is capable of 800+1733 Mbps speeds, an X4 architecture for more high-fidelity streams, and four high-grain external antennas along with Beamforming+ for maximum range. It also has advanced features when going inside its user-interface to promote lag free gaming. Users are also able to manage their home network with the use of the accompanying software, the NETGEAR genie.
