The Meizu Pro 6 is a smartphone that has the world’s first 10-core mobile chip, the MediaTek Helio X25. Just with this alone, you would think that the cost for getting such a phone would make a deep cut to your budget. However, the smartphone is placed within the midrange market, so it won’t hurt your bank account too much. Its other specs don’t disappoint either as it has a rich 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3, 4GB of RAM, and an internal storage which starts at 32GB. There is also a front-side fingerprint reader, is capable of LTE Cat 6 connections, and has a USB 3.1 Gen Type-C port which can support up to 5 Gbps. Perhaps the only thing that’s missing from this beast of a smartphone is NFC. But even without that, this mobile device sure knows how to satisfy.
The Meizu Pro 6 Has Specs and Features That Can Surely Satisfy
The Meizu Pro 6 has the same old mid-range Sony IMX230 sensor that is placed within the 21.16-megapixel f/2.2 rear shutter. Chances are, the quality of the images won’t defeat some of the mainstream cameras that are deliver better picture performance. Furthermore, the lens of the camera is covered by a piece of Gorilla Glass 3, which is clearly a cost-cutting move since there are smartphone cameras that have the harder sapphire variant. But what makes the camera different is that it comes with a better laser autofocus system, and a small ring flash that has 10 LEDs, which is a first for the smartphone industry.
Furthermore, the Pro 6 comes with a “3D Press” feature, which from the sound of the functionality is clearly a clone to that of Apple’s 3D Touch which can found in the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. What it does is it gives the user a number of options depending on how hard the screen is pressed.
One of the more interesting features of this phone (even more interesting than the ones that were already mentioned) is the “mSound.” This is just a fancy name for the phone’s combination of its built-in loudspeaker and NXP’s third-generation amplifier. What it does is it is claimed to produce louder audio but producing little distortion.
At the time of writing, there is no word about the global availability of the Meizu Pro 6, but there is a dual-SIM variant of the smartphone that is already up for pre-ordering in China. Interested purchasers can choose from either the 32GB or 64GB internal storage models.
