There may be some that may immediately be put off by the Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum as soon as they glance upon the price tag. However, if you have the extra cash to get this beauty of a wireless gaming headset, then you’re in for an absolute treat. Its build quality and sound performance are as great as its price tag (well, not really but you get the idea). This is also thanks to the combination of a wireless USB receiver and a selection of wired connections included in the standard packaging. Therefore, you can hook up this particular headset with your PC, mobile device, and literally nearly every game system without much of a hassle. Connecting it to your computer also lets you take advantage of an extensive equalizer, game profiles, and even the option to change the colored lighting on the unit.
The Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum Presents Plenty to Like About For a Price
When they are folded and turned off, the Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum looks like a futuristic set of over-ear headphones that would immediately draw any attention to itself. The headband, as well as the earcups, are entirely made out of black plastic. There are foam padding on the ears and under the headband that is also covered in, yes, the color black. As for the earpads, they are roughly rectangular. The backs of them are shaped like uneven pentagons that would immediately let the headset portray like a prop from a sci-fi film.
But when you turn the G933 Artemis on, it looks a lot friendlier than when it was turned off. It looks like it now comes from Tron. The G logoes found on the outside panels will glow. There are also lights that run along the back edge of each earcup that will also light up. These lights are all programmable with the use of the accompanying software. It should be noted, however, that the software is only compatible to the Windows operating system only.
One of the things that makes this particular headset so great is it supports the 7.1-channel Dolby and DTS surround sound. Furthermore, the audio channels are individually adjustable through the use of the Logitech G app whenever the device is connected to a computer. The overall sound quality is great, even if you opt for the surround sound channels or not.
Hands down, the Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum is literally one of the best gaming headset that you can get. It offers comfort, excellent build quality, and a fantastic sound experience that would automatically justify its high-end price tag.
