Laptop suggestions for students

It’s school time again, and so we will offer several suggestions for students on which laptops to use.  Laptops have almost become a necessity for students to pass their classes. Gone are the days when one has to practically live in the library to find sources for their projects, reports, or assignments. There are several laptops out in the market to choose from, and well…not everyone has the same taste in gadgets, and not everyone has the needs and priorities in finding the perfect device. So here are some suggestions, and guides that will help out anyone who is looking for a laptop:

Traditional Laptops

We all know how this one looks. It’s usually has a screen size ranging from 14 to 17.6 inches. These can have bigger screens, and more comfortable keyboard in comparison to other gadgets. One of the best things about this is that it has a higher performance, speed, and a bigger space for various applications and software. However, the downside is that traditional laptops can be quite heavy, and the battery life usually decreases in time.

Chromebook

This is a lightweight laptop that is powered by Google Chrome’s OS. Unlike the conventional laptops, this is quite lightweight, and also relatively cheaper. It can run on the same applications and programs found in other devices. While it is cheaper, and a lot lighter, it does not have the familiar Windows Applications. Also, it quite dependent on connectivity, and is not recommended for media work, special science, and engineering applications.

2 in 1 Devices

Basically  10.6 in to 12.6 in tablets that can be converted into laptops with the assistance of specially designed keyboard or keyboard dock. These are quite lightweight, portable, and has a high battery life. It also has a high resolution screen that gives quality graphics. However, its performance is not as fast as conventional laptops, and the storage capacity is not that big.

Convertible Laptops

These are just laptops with hinged display that allows you to switch from laptop to tablet-like forms. The screen size is usually just around 11.6 in to 13.3 inches. It is also quite lightweight, so it makes it easier to carry around anywhere. The hinges may pose to be a problem later on, as it can break down after several use.
