iPhone 7 - Redesigned Antenna Lines Coming, Rumors Say

Rumors About the iPhone 7 are Floating Around the Internet

To kick off what has been churning around the rumor mill for the iPhone 7, a report from Forbes states that there are leaked photos that allegedly depict the smartphone’s chassis. It was first said to be posted on a French tech site NowhereElse.fr. The photos suggest that the Cupertino, California-based tech giant, more specifically their upcoming handset offering, will have double speakers found at the top and bottom of the unit. This creates a quad array audio experience that is similar to the iPad Pro.

While still on those photos, they seem to confirm that Apple’s iPhone 7 will not have a headphone jack. Furthermore, the chassis has the flash repositioned underneath the camera instead of the traditional location wherein it would be beside the rear camera.

However, according to a more recent leak that has been picked up by 9to5Mac, the flash will remain where it was supposed to be like in the iPhone 6s. Therefore, there are now conflicting rumors that are circling around the Internet. However, both sets of photos do suggest that Apple has redesigned the antenna lines for the 7th major iteration of their popular smartphone. Instead of using horizontal lines, the antenna lines will allegedly be traced along the top and bottom edges of the unit.

So the question is, are the aforementioned rumors plausible that it will come out for the new iPhone? Well, to start, these conflicting rumors could mean a few things. Either both of these leaked images are fake, or one of them is fake, or both of them are real. As per Forbes, the tech firm is known for creating several different prototypes first before they put the final product to the test.

Therefore, these reports and rumors pertaining to the iPhone 7 could both be depicting the early but different iterations of the upcoming Apple smartphone. There are even other rumors floating around the World Wide Web, and all we can do for now is speculate on what is real or not until Apple gives the official word.
