First Impressions With the Huawei Watch

There is a growing trend when it comes to smartwatches and Huawei joins the fray with their new Huawei Watch. Huawei’s new contender for the long list of today’s smartwatch competition is a sleek and very luxurious looking timepiece powered by Android technology.

A Look Into the Huawei Watch

The Huawei Watch does not look like a smartwatch at first glance as it sports an analogue timepiece as compared to the many digital ones we’ve seen across the years. When you look at the analogue face closely, you will see that it is not exactly an analogue watch but a digital timepiece made to look like an analogue device.

Many will already proclaim that Huawei is in for the lead with the best-looking smartwatch to date. While many are marveling and drooling all over the latest digital technology has to offer towards mankind, this new watch takes a bit of a step back but does it so well. Users will immediately take notice that they can select a number of analogue watch designs which are all looking very gorgeous.

The watch is fairly thick and it is quite big. However, it follows the trend for just about every Android Wear available in today’s market. It is also seen that it is probably better suited for men’s wrists. Still, the company’s decision to make the watch look this way is in the right direction. While still seemingly large, the clock’s face is smaller than the LG Urbane or the first generation Moto 360.

The display is a crisp 286 ppi clock face on an AMOLED screen. It can even be said that it is, perhaps, the sharpest looking smartwatch to date (in more ways than one). It even sports a good battery life, even when it’s Always On function is, well, turned on. It is one of the questions as to why Apple does not include this feature to their own line of smartwatches.

This watch runs on a Snapdragon 400 chipset and proves to be a zippy experience for a smartwatch. Vibrations of the watch also hit a certain sweet spot as they are not obnoxious but strong enough for the user to feel them.

The Huawei Watch presents itself with an analogue watch’s luxurious look mixed with digital age technology. Smartwatch fans are already looking at this stunning piece of timekeeping device as it is, perhaps, one of the best looking smartwatch to be beaten by its competition.
