Fallout 4 – Automatron DLC is Seen to Have Some Trouble on the PlayStation Store

The new Automatron DLC for Fallout 4 has just been released on the PlayStation 4 and users are found to get a strange little error message. Said message contains: “This Content Cannot Be Selected At This Time.” This is a weird message considering that the downloadable content should already be out. This is also akin to a person shrugging and shaking their hands after being asked about where did they put your pen. If you’re one to experience this error message, you’re not alone. If you head on to Twitter, Bethesda has said that they’ve been working with Sony for a fix on the matter.

Fallout 4’s New DLC Launched With Some Problems

The official Bethesda account over at Twitter had this to say about the Fallout 4 DLC: “Sony is working to prop Automatron for the North American PlayStation Store. Will update as soon as we hear new information.” Anyone who is anxiously waiting for the DLC is met with pain and anguish, and hoping that Sony will be able to figure it out soon.

Automatron is seen to begin with what Bethesda has promised to be an exceptionally ambitious downloadable content for the game. It will feature a lot of new, well, features including new environments and new missions. It will also offer some new things on offer for the sandbox element of the game.

Those who have played through Bethesda’s Fallout 4, or other games from the same publisher, will be able to know that their games are well-suited for DLCs. Their titles have already so much to do in them that it seems that it would have no problem taking in more content. However, this is seen to also become a weakness as any downloadable content will need to be pretty big to bring any player that might have put down their controllers back into the game.

For players that have already been able to get into the game with the new Fallout 4 Automatron DLC, do know that there are a bunch of Easter eggs and new toys to play around with in the wasteland. As per the name of the new content, it largely revolves around robots. This gives the player the ability to modify and collect parts from around the game (just like they would do for their “homes”). You can then either keep the peace in the desolate lands, or incur mayhem across the areas. Also, do know that the Silver Shroud questline was highly popular in the original game, and it makes a triumphant return (with a new story) in the 4th iteration of the franchise.
