Eizo FlexScan EV2750 Review – A Practical Monitor for the Office

Reading the offerings of the Eizo FlexScan EV2750 and you might find it displeasing as it does not have 4K resolution. However, it’s not made for ultra-high resolution viewing, but rather for a more practical purpose. Ezio made this monitor for the office, and as far as business displays go, this one is pretty special.

Eizo FlexScan EV2750 Review - A Practical Monitor for the Office

The Eizo FlexScan EV2750 is Made for Practical Reasons

The first feat for the Eizo FlexScan EV2750 is has a compact architecture for a 27-inch monitor. When placed beside other 27-inch monitors such as the Dell U2713H, it has a far less imposing flair. It has a super-slim 7-millimeter bezel around the edges of the panel. The screen is made with an anti-glare matte coating which stretches tight along its edges. This coating is then surrounded by only a millimeter thick ring of plastic.

It has an angular, contoured look which is also amazingly thin. It is packaged along with an adjustable stand which packs in all the essentials without taking up too much space atop your desk. Said display delivers 155-millimeters in height adjustment, plus a generous amount of tilt and swivel. As an added bonus, the entire monitor can be placed in portrait mode. This is great if you want to show off those inforgraphics or long reports to your boss.

For the FlexScan EV2750, it has none of the high-end features that you would regularly see from the company’s higher-end offerings. But before you decide that this monitor is no good, do note that this is not made for watching ultra-HD movies or to play graphic intensive games with. This is a monitor built for more practical reasons, and as such, has everything you could reasonably ask for.

For instance, there are a flurry of connection options available such as a two USB 3.0 ports and a headphone output that are positioned at the left edge of the monitor. There is also a DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort inputs which are neatly hidden at the rear.

Even though it does not support 4K, it can provide a more than satisfactory resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels for its IPS panel. It is nearly excellent given its main purpose for existing. Also, the matte anti-glare finish provides an extremely wide viewing angle that does away with distracting reflections.

Overall, the Eizo FlexScan EV2750 is an excellent business monitor. Even though it is quite expensive as compared to other basic consumer displays out in the market, it does offer an array of features for the business-ventured individual which makes up more than enough for its price.
