It has been announced that Dark Souls III is coming to various gaming platforms this coming April 2016. Players will also get bonuses when they pre-order the game. Bandai Namco announced that these bonuses will have differences for the each gaming platform.
Those Who Pre-Order Dark Souls III Will Get Special Bonuses
For instance, those who pre-order Dark Souls III for the Xbox One via the Xbox Store will get a copy of the original Dark Souls game completely free. The original title is already backwards compatible for the latest Microsoft gaming console. The code to download the first Dark Souls game will be given to players between seven to ten days after placing the order for the third iteration.
For those who pre-order the game for the PC via Steam will be able to get the original soundtrack of the game. The pre-order bonus for the computer (PC) version of the game will arrive at the same time as the videogame’s release date, unlike the pre-order bonus for those who get it for the Xbox One. An additional bonus will also be rewarded for those who already have the original and the 2nd installment of the Dark Souls title in the form of a discount when they order Dark Souls 3.
Lastly, the PlayStation 4 bonus for pre-ordering from the PlayStation Store will receive the same bonus as with those who pre-ordered for the PC. Similarly as well, the soundtrack will only become available by the time the game is released. However, PS4 users will also enjoy a Fire Fades dynamic theme that will come with pre-ordering the game. Also, the theme will also be available immediately upon placing the order.
There is also a new trailer for the third installment of the Dark Installment franchise, and the soundtrack from the clip features a haunting rendition of Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors,” which is performed by Richie Cohan along with Faux Fix.
What the trailer shows are short snippets on what players will be expecting when the game is released. Obviously, there are a lot of new content found in the third iteration. In the trailer, there are new weapons to wield, new monsters, new dark journeys, and even a quick peek at the player vs. player (PVP) mode.
Dark Souls III will be released on March 24, 2016 in Japan, while the North American release won’t be available until the 12th of April of the same year. Those who are fans of the franchise are already seen to be waiting with much anticipation.
