After the widely-acclaimed Clash of Clans mobile game, along with other famous titles like Hay Day and Boom Beack, developer Supercell is now on its way to having another clear winner of a mobile game – Clash Royale. In fact, just a short time after its release on the app stores, it immediately shot to the No.1 spot in top downloads. This achievement was done in less than a day just shortly after its release.
Clash Royale Immediately Became the Number 1 Top Downloaded Game in Less Than a Day After its Release
Once Ilkka Paananen, the CEO of Supercell in Helsinki, Finland, announced on the company’s Facebook page that they have just release Clash Royale into the app store, thousands upon thousands of mobile gamers have immediately went into app stores to download the game. What makes the company’s games so good, especially this one, is that they rigorously test them out in certain markets prior to releasing them.
One game in particular is called Smash Land, which spent a good long while in development before making a killing during mid-2015. Therefore, it is to no question that the company focuses greatly on quality before releasing the game into app stores. Because of this thought, it is also comes to no question why Clash Royale (iOS and Android) has become a major hit for the company and for the mobile game industry.
There are many mobile game companies that have just one or two hits, at the time of writing, Supercell now has four hit games. Such an achievement was even done without the advantages of being a giant company or tying up with large-named brands.
With the success of Supercell, it has spawned a number of mobile game developers in Helsinki. Simply put, these newer mobile game companies are now chasing for Supercell’s success. With Supercell’s latest hit, and the fact that they are not a giant company, they are now reaping large advantages.
Because of these successes, it is no wonder why Apple has been giving the game a huge feature position in the App Store as soon as it launched. This particular game is a blend of Clash of Clans and the game’s own unique playstyle. It gives players real-time strategy along with the concept of being a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA).
Even though Clash Royale takes a lot of elements from Clash of Clans, it is far from the gameplay found in the latter title. This new mega-hit of a mobile game has synchronous battles wherein both players engage in real-time combat rather than having an asynchronous playstyle that Clash of Clans had.
