The South Korean tech giant continues their love of curved 4K displays with the Samsung UN55JU7500FXZA. While many remain skeptical and their thoughts brimming with “not another 4K TV,” this ultra-HD television aims to disprove those skepticisms. It has an impressive contrast, accurate colors, and all the features you need that you can find in an HDTV. There is also a separate HDMI switch box which makes setting up more convenient rather than having it as typical.
The Samsung UN55JU7500FXZA Aims to Change the Minds of Naysayers
The 55-inch display of the Samsung UN55JU7500FXZA has a very steep price point as compared to other wallet-friendly options such as the Vizio M65-C1. If you have the Vizio then you might need to know how to connect Bluetooth speakers to the Vizio TV. While it still does have quite the hefty price tag, its pack of features and quality image performance justifies that price point well.
The UN55JU7500FXZA TV is a top contender in the market as it boasts a stylish and attractive way of delivering 4K images. As a bonus, there is none of the distracting light bloom or the even larger price tag found in the Samsing JS9500 series.
For its design, the UN55JU7500FXZA has a curved screen that is bordered by a flat black plastic bezel. This is angled slightly inward which promotes a similar look to a modern picture frame. Still, it lacks the shiny metal edging which is found in other high-end models found in the same brand. Nonetheless, it still looks to be quite the attraction. The entire display will sit securely on a large, T-shaped plastic stand which has its own sense of style as it is brushed with a gunmetal finish.
The UN55JU7500FXZA’s display offers great color accuracy and contrast ratio. The latter has a value of 34,557:1. More importantly speaking, the light bloom that has plagued in the higher-end JS9500 can no longer be found.
When viewing 4K content, it is nothing short but excellent. Watching videos on Netflix has footage that looks particularly sharp and vivid. The shadows and highlights are all well-rendered with plenty of detail which are thanks to the screen’s solid contrast ratio. Textures were crisp and easily identifiable in just about every 4K content available.
If you want to start jumping into the 4K bandwagon, then you might want to consider the Samsung UN55JU7500FXZA. While there are some who are still not sold about its curved display (as curved screens provide little in enhancing viewing experiences), the picture quality is undeniably excellent while it also has a good list of features to boot.
