The MINI Cooper D Clubman 2015 is no longer a seemingly fat MINI hatchback, but it is instead a great competitor to the Audi A3, Volvo V40, and even the Mercedes A-Class. There is a 360-liter boot that is found behind the rear seats. Folding those rear seats down and you will free up to 1,250-liters. That number is just 20-liters less than what you can find within a Volkswagen Golf.

Inside the cabin of the MINI Cooper D Clubman 2015, there is a new center console that has a pair of cup holders. There is also the familiar iDrive controller and a decent armrest. With the use of the electronic handbrake, it is able to free up even more space for the interiors. There is even a pair of door bins that are large and spacious enough to fit in a liter bottle of water. Furthermore, there are now more features attached to the standard model. These extra features include a sat-nav, cruise control, keyless go, and alloy wheels.
For its interior design, the Clubman 2015 hasn’t lost its flair. There is a large red starter button that has been carried over from its predecessor, and is now nestled between the retro-looking toggle switches. There is also an ambient lighting that has been cleverly placed in the door panels.
The dashboard design remains quirky as well. There is a color-coded ring and a chrome strip that wraps the lower section of the dashboard. The aforementioned large central display will come as a standard feature. In the rear, there is plenty of room, but it does fall short a little to become the best of its class in this category.
There is, however, a slight issue with regards to the wind noise. This is due to the upright windscreen. Even though there is this concern, the engine is quiet. But again, the road noise can become an issue with its 18-inch wheels. In short, if you ask the question if the car is plenty stylish, then the answer is yes; but if the question is if it is practical, then the answer is maybe not.
Even though there are some caveats regarding the MINI Cooper D Clubman 2015, it still retains its playful character. There is that quirky deisng that you can’t miss out on. The engine now packs an impressive economy and it will lead to lower running costs.
