More and more leaks about the Huawei-made Nexus 6P, and according to recent reports, customers are able to get the smartphone in 1 of at least 4 colors. It is just less than a week to go before Google will formally announce its latest creation for their Nexus line. There are already a lot of leaks and reports about what could be their new devices, but all will still be made crystal clear when the company known by their popular search engine will officially announce it. It is nearing the date for the annual announcement and launch of the new Nexus phones, which are Google’s flagship smartphones. It is an important event for everyone who wants to get in the know about the company’s latest offerings with regards to their mobile phone line. In fact, it is also usually at this time when Google will announce the latest operating system update for their Android OS.
Upcoming Nexus 6P May Sport Different Colors in Latest Report
According to the image by the Android Police, the Nexus 6P will come in at least 4 colors. These are black, gold, white, and silver. However, it is still not clear as to how will these be offered at the launch, or if there are premium handsets among the 4 which may be targeted to higher-end markets. It also unclear if the LG Nexus 5X will sport the same color treatment as the Huawei-made ones. This is also another reason to get excited with this year’s launch as there will be two Nexus phones to be announced – the Huawei Nexus 6P and the LG Nexus 5X.
Google will be holding their press event on the 29th of September. On this date, it will officially put all rumors concerning their smartphone line to rest as all will be made clear. Another report states that there will be no preloaded apps and services onto the new devices that users tend to ignore but do take up internal storage space.
Aside from the rumored colors, the 5X is said to sport a 5.2-inch display while the 6P is slightly larger at around 5.7-inches. It should be noted that the 6P should not be confused with the Motorola-made Nexus 6. Both phones are said to appear with the latest Android OS, codenamed Android 6.0 Marshmallow. People are already excited with the upcoming release of the Nexus 6P and 5X with all the reports that keep on appearing.
