The latest information that has been given the light of day for the upcoming “Blood and Wine” downloadable content (DLC) for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt features its possible release date, along with the expansion’s trophies and achievements.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Blood and Wine DLC Information About Release Date Leaked
For a while now, the release date for the latest DLC expansion for The Witcher 3, which is called “Blood and Wine,” has been the subject of rumors and speculations within the gaming community. GRYOnline, a Polish video game retail website, claims that the DLC will be launched on the 7th of June of this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game.
Developer CD Projekt Red states that they will be releasing brand new information pertaining to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt “Blood and Wine” DLC sometime within the month, which means that we might be getting a new trailer as well as an officially announced launched date for the new content. Still, a leaked Steam listing with regards to the “Blood and Wine” DLC indicates that it will launch on either the 30th or 31st of May, as Twitter user Wario64 was able to tweet along with a screenshot of the supposed Steam listing.
The page where the alleged Steam listing for the DLC has already been taken down and CD Projekt Red did not make any comments regarding the matter. Even though speculations continue to rise with regards to the DLC’s release date, the list of “Blood and Wine’s” achievements and trophies have already been leaked online.
There are at least 13 achievements in which players would be able to try and accomplish, as well as three other accomplishments that are not yet explained. These achievements are “The Grapes of Wrath Stomped,” “Hasta la Vista,” “I Have a Gwent Problem,” “Playing House,” “The Witcher’s Gone South,” “A Knight to Remember,” “Embodiment of the Five Virtues,” “Turned Every Stone,” “Dressed to Kill,” “David and Golyat,” “Weapon “W”,” “Last Action Hero,” and “Kling of the Clink”
Furthermore, CD Projekt Red hinted that the “Blood and Wine” DLC will also introduce new animation and creatures that are within The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Some of the new creatures include Stringas, Manticores, Scolopendromorphs, and Bruxas. At the time of writing, the exact number of new monsters is yet to be determined. The title is currently available for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC platforms.
