2016 Audi Q3 Quattro Review – A Solid Performer in an Industry With Very Stiff Competition

Based on performance, the 2016 Audi Q3 Quattro does pretty well. Its cabin is quiet and performance during driving is pretty good as well. The small crossover is both handsome and functional, inside and out. It can even be said that when you are able to pass by an Audi dealership and you see this vehicle, chances are you will be pretty happy.

2016 Audi Q3 Quattro Review - A Solid Performer in an Industry With Very Stiff Competition

The New 2016 Audie Q3 Quattro Boasts Power and Looks in One Package

What’s good about the 2016 Audi Q3 Quattro is that it is solidly made, and with good looks to boot. Its 2.0-liter turbocharger four-cylinder engine that is situated under the vehicle’s hood has 200-horsepower and 207-pound-feet of torque (as per what’s written on paper). This is like the same power found under the hood of the Volkswagen Golf GTI. However, on Audi’s model, it is built and tuned to focus more on efficiency rather than all-out performance and power.

When changing direction with the vehicle, drivers of the new 2016 Q3 Quattro will notice a slight change in weight. Still, it feels that it plants its feet, err… tires when rounding a bend or off-ramp. However, there is a lack of feel through both the wheel and the seat. The top-heaviness of the car is forgivable since you simply can’t compare a compact crossover over the performance level of a sports car.

Drivers of the Q3 should take notice that in order to go fast with this vehicle, it requires more patience than the crossover. For drivers to get a surge of acceleration, they should keep their foot planted until the turbo will surge, and not leap, into action.

Inside the Q3, it gains ground on the Mercedes-Benz GLA250 and BMW as the car has an excellent tech, quiet construction, and a luxury design. The car manufacturer outdid themselves in isolating the occupants from the outside world. Those inside the vehicle would, in a way, be separate from the noise of the engine and other sounds from outside the car.

One of the reasons as to why the cabin for the Q3 is so cozy is due to it being smaller than its competitors. It has noticeably less space for cargo than the BMW X1 or the Benz GLA250. This comes as quite the surprise since Audi looks larger than the competition upon first glance. The illusion to this will come to an end when it is parked along other vehicles in a parking lot.

While the 2016 Audi Q3 Quattro faces stiff competition, it does exceedingly well and may very well drive past by a lot of its competitors with comfort and style.
