The 2015 Maserati GranTurismo MC Sport doesn’t have to be so engaging, but it is. The company’s range continues to expand greatly as the new GranTurismo drives into the scene. With the guise of a Sport Line, car enthusiasts everywhere will get a bit of the Maserati Stradale in terms of visual appeal but withou the chiro-inducing ride.

2015 Maserati GranTurismo MC Sport Review - Still Looking Good

The 2015 Maserati GranTurismo MC Sport Brings More Appeal Into the Scene

The 2015 Maserati GranTurismo MC Sport is available in two versions. Both versions will have six-speed gearboxes, but one will have the rear-mounted robotized manual and the other is a six-speed ZF automatic. The latter is mated directly to the car’s engine.

Both variants will come with a flurry features as standard. Some of those are Poltrona Frau leather, alloy pedals, foglights, front and rear parking sensors, 20-inch MSC alloys, Alcantara headlighting, electric seats, cruise control, electric adjustment for the steering wheel, and dual-zone climate control.

For the design of the 2015 GranTurismo MC Sport, it is akin to that of fine wine – the more it gets older, the more beautiful it gets. Also, the new MC Sport does not only age well, but it also looks fresh from all the right angles. Perhaps the only let down are the large tail-lights that look more comfortable to something less exotic. But taking those aside, you will be left with a really pretty car. It has a gorgeous surfacing, and the highlight of it all are those beautiful rising guards that will take down your vision to the bonnet.

Aside from its looks, the driving performance of this vehicle is a marvel. As soon as you start up the vehicle, the smooth 4.7-liter V-8 engine (that has been inherited from the then-parent Ferrari) will give a smooth bellow, which might wake up your neighbors if you’re not too careful. But this is only when the car is in Sport Mode, otherwise, it will settle into a quiet idle.

The car can go from 0 to 100km/h in a matter of 4.8-seconds while its top speed is 298km/h. Steering is very impressive. There’s enough to keep you interested and entertained, but it is all kept balanced so as not to let you be overwhelmed when you use this vehicle for your daily drive. However, when compared to some of its competitors, the throttle does not move as quickly. Still, the noise and sharp-shifting transmission is enough to make anyone happy.

The 2015 Maserati GranTurismo MC Sport is a surprising car. Even though it is the result of a timeless, shapely body, for this vehicle, age is but a number. But there are some signs that tell that age does catch up to it (as with its fuel consumption and in-car entertainment). But when it comes down to where it matters most, the car can definitely deliver.
