Asus Revealed a Bunch of Tech in Their Zenvolution Event
In this article, we’re going to focus on the differences and similarities between the Asus Zenfone 3, Zenfone Deluxe, and Zenfone Ultra. To start, let’s focus on their build and design. For the Zenfone 3 Deluxe, it comes with an all-metal body and a matte finish for its rear which does give the phone a premium look. The antenna cuts on the device are not visible, which is a nice touch, and it has even been dubbed as the “first phone with invisible antenna lines.”
As for the Zenfone 3, which is the mid-range offering, it also comes with a metal frame body but this is complemented by a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass that is found on either side. It has a very glossy finish for its rear, which means that smudges and fingerprints will be attracted to it like a magnet.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra can be placed in the phablet category rather than your regular smartphone sector since it sports a massive 6.8-inch display. It also comes with a metallic build just like its two brothers, and it is among the first Zenfone devices that has a dedicated home button.
All of the three phones sport a Full HD resolution for their displays. But the key difference here pertains to the protection for their screens. For the standard Zenfone 3 model, it comes with a 5.5-inch display and a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe has a 5.7-inch display along with a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection. Finally, the massive Zenfone 3 Ultra has a 6.8-inch display that also has a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection.
Out of the three Asus Zenfone 3 smartphones, the Deluxe model is worth taking a second glance to because of its impressive SuperAMOLED screen. As for the other two models, they only sport LCD displays.
