Google brings in the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. After all, what’s better than one Nexus smartphone when you can have two? The former comes from LG whereas the latter comes from Huawei. They were officially shown at the recent San Francisco Google event, which puts down all the rumors and leaks as official word finally came out about its specs, features, and looks.

The Nexus 5x and Nexus 6P Has the New Android OS 6.0 Marshmallow

The Mountain View, California-based tech giant brings in new features for the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. For instance, both will have a fingerprint sensor that will be situated at the back of the devices. Google calls it their “Nexus Imprint.” It works well with Android Pay, which is a service similar to Apple Pay. The app lets you pay at registers without the need of a physical wallet (or tangible cash).

Both handsets will also sport an updated 12.3-megapixel rear cameras. These will be able to let users shoot better photos even while indoors. The cameras are also capable of recording super high-resolution 4K videos, while also being capable of creating fun animated GIFs (similar to what Apple did with their iPhone 6S and 6S Plus with their Live Photos feature). The front-facing camera differs for both devices. The 6P gets an 8-megapixel one whereas the 5X has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Both the Nexus 5X and the 6P come with a 64-bit Qualcomm procesor. They will also sport a USB Type-C input. This input is a thinner, faster way to connect to a power outlet. It is still possible to connect the mobile phones to a computer for data transfers, but now at a faster rate.

The Nexus 6P comes with a metal body and a 5.7-inch display. It has a slimmer body as compared to other large-screened devices found in today’s market, especially those that have displays that are within the 5.5-inch display mark.

The Nexus 5X, on the other hand, is known to be the spiritual successor to the Nexus 5. The Nexus 5 is an Android phone that is loved by many due to its quality and costs for obtaining it. The 5X comes in different colors, namely carbon black, quartz white, and ice blue. The 6P has different colors in its roster, namely graphite (which is similar to black), aluminum, and frost white.

Both the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P are already available to the public.
