Venue 10 7000: Dell's latest version of its Android Tablet

Fresh from the success of Venue 8 7000 that won a Best of CES award, Dell announces its newest addition in their line of Android Tablets. The latest flagship Android Tablet of Dell is the Venue 10 7000 a blown up version of the Venue 8 7000, not to mention better with more improved feature.

Design

Speaking of design, the design of the latest Android Tablet of Dell which is the Venue 10 7000 is quite similar to the Venue 8 7000 tablet both has a regal aluminum look. It is almost as thin as the Venue 8 7000 at 6mm while the Dell 10 7000 at 6.2mm. The screen resolution is the same too (2,560 x 1,600), but is larger at 10.5-inch display.

Camera

The Dell Venue 10 7000 has an Intel’s RealSense 3D camera setup, plus an 8 -megapixel main rear shooter and stereoscopic 720p cameras.

Dell’s Venue 8 7000 vs. Dell’s Venue 10 7000

Similar yet different, Dell’s Venue 10 7000 has a cylindrical-shaped battery that is attached on the device’ bottom edge and the battery is rated up to seven hours. The latest Android Tablet flagship of Dell has a built in stereo speakers on it. In this point the Venue 10 has the looks of Lenovo’s Yoga Tablets, the resemblance is just with its looks not with its hinge function because the hinge of Dell’s 10 7000 does not flip out to double as a kickstand like the Lenovo Yoga Tablets does.

The hinge however is where you can connect an optional keyboard accessory for additional productivity. It also houses both the battery and the speaker of this latest tablet.

Software

Like Venue 8, the Venue 10 runs in Intel Atom processor with Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Availability and costs of Dell’s Venue 10 7000

Dell’s Venue 10 7000 will be available later this month, the cost of this particular device starts at $499 without the Bluetooth keyboard plus the keyboard and Bluetooth price at $629.
