The Next Xbox One Update Will Make the Console 50 Percent Faster

Microsoft recently announced that there will be a new update for their gaming console and they’ve named it the New Xbox One Experience. The update will be installed into the console this coming November. It promises to make the system function 50 percent faster. This is all according to the Xbox engineering boss, Mike Ybarra. Ybarra states that more information regarding the upcoming update will be told at the latest episode of “Major Nelson Radio.”

The engineering boss also says that Microsoft continually tracks the loading time data, even for the Xbox 360. The new experience (which is already said to be available to some testers) have seen significant improvements to gaming console’s performance. Ybarra says that “Popular gaming features” are able to load at a 50 percent faster rate. However, he did not say what the “features” are going to be affected. Overall, the engineering boss says that Xbox gamers can look forward to a whole new level of speed and responsiveness.

Xbox One Owners Are Said to Expect a New Level of Speed and Responsiveness With Their November Update

The New Xbox One Experience is said to be available to all owners of this console in November this year. The update will also contain a backward compatibility feature for Xbox 360 titles. There will also be a new Guide, a redesigned Home screen, and also a new Community section. Along with the flurry of new features, Mike Ybarra also teased that there will also be new “accessibility” features for their customers. This will ensure that the gaming device will be able to appeal to the widest possible market. Once again, it would seem that these “features” are still being held close to Microsoft’s chest.

The New Xbox Experience will slowly roll out as the update is quite large and significant, Microsoft has revealed. The company said that it will slowly give the update to people who have “historically submitted the most feedback.” Therefore, it won’t be available to every console owner right away. The engineering boss over at Microsoft stated that their goal is to release the update to a small group first then get their feedback. Afterwards, they will roll it out over a larger group then get additional feedback over time.

You can get early access to the New Xbox One Experience if you’re a member of the Xbox One Preview Program then get an invitation sent directly to your Xbox Live message box. From then, follow the instructions to get a “preview” of the upcoming major update.
