The Tefal Toast n’ Egg is a device that is far from the norm. It will let you toast bread while cook an egg. For the toaster portion, it has two slots that can easily fit in two standard-sized pieces of bread. Then, you’re eyes may immediately shift to the pot at the end of the unit that will allow you to cook your eggs. Even though the idea of having such a device will bring interesting looks, and if it would be your first time to start using it, just give it a chance. It brings efficiency in making your family’s breakfast.

The Tefal Toast n’ Egg Brings Efficiency to the Table

For the toaster part of the Tefal Toast n’ Egg, it has two fairly large slots, and each slot can fit a standard-sized bread very easy. Perhaps the reason why the slots are so large is because of the addition of a boiler for cooking eggs. The slots measure in at 13 x 13 x 13-centimeters each. On the underside of the unit, there is a cable tidy and said cable measures in at 85-centimeters in length.

Controls for the toaster are pretty basic. There is a browning slider, which you can have browning levels from 1 to 5, and there are four touch-capacitive buttons to choose the mode. The modes that can be chosen are toast only, egg only, toast and egg, or cancel.

Unlike other toasters that you find on the market, the Toast n’ Egg comes with a good set of accessories right out of the standard packaging. There is a mini frying pan, a holder for boiling up to four eggs at a time, and a warming tray. Another neat feature for all these accessories is that they can neatly be stacked together when not in use. This immediately lessens the clutter that you might otherwise have when not using the other items.

Using the toaster, the browning only offers an average, if not a mediocre performance. While the slots do fit in a standard-sized bread pretty easily, it is quite small in the inside. Therefore, you can’t place extra pieces of bread in there. Furthermore, the depth is not that appealing either as a smaller-sized bread will indeed have even browning but a taller one will have a portion of it sticking out of the slots; hence, the taller bread will have uneven browning.

Despite some shortcomings, the Tefal Toast n’ Egg is still a solid choice and it does deliver one aspect pretty well – efficiency. Aside from it being an efficient device, it is also an affordable one. Therefore, it won’t break banks right from the onset.
