Right out of the box, you would immediately feel the excellent build quality of the Tefal RK302E15 8-in-1 Multi Cooker, especially for a mid-range cooker. It has a machined steel finish that is very practical. And as an added bonus, the exteriors are very fingerprint resistant so you would always have that shiny metal gleaming at you with pride. The large handles and detachable cable allows you to carry the enture unit to the table for serving. It also comes with a rice paddle, a steaming tray, and a measuring cup right within the standard packaging.
As stated earlier, the controls are easy to use and they are intuitive. You no longer need to consult the instruction manual to use them. Just press the menu button to select the program you want, then use the up and down arrows to adjust the time should you want a delayed start. For example, you can command the RK302E15 to be ready to cook in any time from 2 to 15-hours, using 1-hour increments.
There are, however, just a couple of caveats found with regards to its design. The cup marking on the inside of the non-stick metal pot are a bit hard to read. When using the cooker in darker areas, you may need to use a flashlight or a portable light source to get a good read on them. Also, the spoon holder on the side does take up too much space, but this one can be removed so that problem can be remedied quickly.

Despite some niggles here and there, the Tefal RK302E15 8-in-1 Multi Cooker is the one to get. Provided within a fairly reasonably price tag, it can cook up a storm when you want to serve up rice, porridge, slow-cook dishes, and many more.
