The Apple TV and iPad Pro may have just stolen the show over the iPhone 6S at the recent Apple event. Over the past few years, the technology giant has made a premise for bringing the iPhone to greater heights. This is why it seemed that it was always the headliner for the annual Apple Keynote. However, 2015 has brought us a surprise in the form of the company’s latest TV set and mobile tablet.
Although the iPhone was their original “show stealer,” it all changed this year as they debuted their new TV steaming-media box and a larger, user friendly tablet.
The Apple TV and iPad Pro Could Be the Answer Everyone is Looking For
With the Apple TV and the new iPad Pro, the tech giant is aiming to prove that they can sell more than just their famous smartphones. The release of the previous TV set from Apple was three years ago, and this will be its first update since that time. The company also aims to re-establish their roots to let the world know that they are still a leader in the market for streaming media boxes. Apple is looking to keep up with the competition since there are now heavy hitters in today’s market, namely Google, Roku, and Amazon. Furthermore, with the release of their new addition to their mobile tablet line, the iPad Pro is looking to put more life into their declining sales for their tablet department.
While it is still unclear how these products fare in today’s market seeing that they’ve just recently been announced, it also means that waiting for the results can be very exciting. After all, Apple has made a killing for its iPhone lineup so seeing the new Apple TV and iPad Pro will be a nice surprise for everyone.
Even though the iPhone “seems” to have fallen behind the new features and specs from Apple’s new TV streaming media box and mobile tablet, it is still a great new addition to the company’s line of technological innovations.
The new iPhone 6S packs a better punch as it deals more “horsepower” with its new A9 chip. It also has a sharper and better camera which can shoot for up to 12-megapixel images. It also has a front facing 5-megapixel camera that uses the screen as a flash for better selfies. The new smartphone also has a stronger aluminium body, which could be the whole principle behind the letter “S” in the name. Other than these inclusions, Apple unveils that the phone now has a “3D Touch” fature, which is a pressure-sensitive display. It basically means that a soft tap and a hard tap on the screen yields different results.
While the iPhone 6S and the 6S Plus is a major contender in the company’s new technological lineup, it would seem that the Apple TV and the iPad Pro will be the most talked about for the coming days.
