Get Great Gaming Performance on the Go With the MSI GS60

Gaming laptops are always closing the gap when it comes to performance levels, and the MSI GS60 is certainly making that gap turn into a teeny-tiny space. We are now beginning to see an even more impressive generation of high-definition compact gaming with notebooks through MSI’s latest offering.

Starting under the hood of the new MSI GS60 Ghost Pro, it has major improvements to best serve gamers everywhere. It has the ability to dynamically overclock itself to provide the best gaming graphics for a 15-inch notebook. It also has the new Skylake chip, along with the assistance of an Nvidia GTX 970M, and pretty you soon you will be drooling at the graphical performance of this mini-marvel.

The Ghost Pro does boast some impressive hardware, but there are also other notable things about it. For instance, it is thinner and lighter than last year’s model. The new model is only 0.78-inches thick as compared to other chunkier hardcore gaming devices like the Alienware 17 and the Acer Predator 17. The best thing about this is that going thinner did not show any compromises when it comes to ports.

Within the sides of the GS60, you will find two full-sized USB 3.0 ports, and an HDMI port. There is also a DisplayPort, separate microphone and headphone jacks, and an Ethernet port for wired Internet connectivity. Along with the aforementioned ports, there is also a new one called the “Super Port.” It has the capabilities of the Thunderbolt 3.0 port packed into a USB Type C port. In other words, this will turn the compact computer to drive up to two 4K displays and will even be able to quickly recharge devices.

The MSI GS60 is indeed a beautiful piece of compact technology and it has the power to deliver amazing graphics, all in a 15-inch screen. While there are many great, if not fantastic things that can be stated for this machine, it has some underlying flaws to it such as its high price tag and short battery life. Other than these caveats, those who want high-definition gaming on the go should definitely pick this laptop up.
