Kolibri Discovery Delta-Recon Review – Flexibility of Control at its Finest

The Kolibri Discovery Delta-Recon, much like its name sounds, has a military motif in just about every corner of this quadcopter. It is painted in a tactical matte green color and it comes with an HD camera right out of the box. The camera is able to shoot 720p resolution footage which also enables users to stream and record their “aerial missions” in HD quality. What’s more is that the clips that will be recorded can automatically be saved through a connected mobile device without any file transfer protocols being done. It has a quad-rotor architecture with integrated prop guards. But perhaps what sets this drone apart from many others is that you can manipulate it with its controller or through a connected smart device.

The Kolibri Discovery Delta-Recon Delivers More for Aerial Missions

There are some drones when controlling them with accompanying app will give you a difficult time in flying the device, but this is not the case with the Kolibri Discovery Delta-Recon. You just have to make sure that your smartphone is connected with the same Wi-Fi network as that of this particular quadcopter and you’re good to go.

The user-interface on the accompanying app is pretty much easy to deal with as you are able to control the Kolibri Discovery Delta-Recon Quadcopter just like you would do with any traditional remote control. Perhaps the only thing that you have to figure out is the “Heads Off” mode as it might not be clear as to where you can get to this particular feature at first try. For those who are wondering where it is, the “Heads Off” mode is found in the upper right corner of the mobile application.

Do not worry if you crash land the drone a few times when you’re still learning how to pilot it, well, that is provided that it is not of a significant height of which it fell from then you should be worried. Otherwise, this drone can take it. The protective base works pretty well and there will be no signs of damage when crashing it from a moderate height level.

Overall, the Kolibri Discovery Delta-Recon is able to fly pretty well and it is designed in such a way that you can do reconnaissance missions because of its tactical matte green finish. Its sturdy body means that you will be assured that the quadcopter can fly back up again even if you crash it a few times. Perhaps the only caveat that can be experience with this unit is its weak battery power.
