The JVC HA-EBT5 Has a Sound Signature That Will Not Appeal to Audio Purists

Those who are interested in purchasing the JVC HA-EBT5 will have an array of colors to choose from, namely all black, light blue and white, black and red, and pink and white. These earphones offer a no-nonsense design that is simplistic yet functional in nature. The cable that connects the earpieces together sits comfortably behind your neck or below your chin. There are support fins found on each earpiece which does assist in stabilizing the in-canal fit. Furthermore, these fins can be adjusted by shifting them between two positions to achieve your desired fit.

For the right earpiece of the JVC HA-EBT5 earphones, it houses a connection for the included micro-USB charging cable. You can also find a status LED on this piece. The device does come with an inline remote control as well as a mic which can also be found in the right earpiece. These can be used for managing and taking calls. It should be noted that users might have to get used to the three-button remote without being able to see it. Still, the company does provide well-raised buttons for these controls so you would be able to know which is which.

When playing music that have intense sub-bass content, these earphones are able to deliver a great low-frequency response. What’s great about it is that it is able to let the bass kick in deep enough without the added problem of distortion. Distortion does not exist even at top, unwise listening volumes. Furthermore, there’s quite a bit of boosting found at higher frequencies.

Overall, what you’re going to get with the JVC HA-EBT5 is a very sculpted sound that is sure to keep you motivated during all of your workout regimens. However, the audio profile is by no way accurate so sound purists should stay away from these no matter what the cost. Still, exercise headphones are rarely made for purists anyway.
