When you’ve cracked the screen of your iPhone, you would most probably head towards the nearest physical Apple store and try to order a replacement. You would be in luck if your phone is still under warranty, but what if it’s not? Then you can call in Dish Network. The satellite TV provider now has a new, nationwide team of professional technicians that can do more than assist you in more ways than just helping you watch your TV shows.
Cracked iPhone Screens Can Now be Repaied by Dish Network Technicians
With Dish Network’s Smart Phone Repair Program, you can call in a technician to go to your home to repair cracked iPhone screens. Aside from that, they can also replace the batteries on the iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6, and 6 Plus. The satellite TV company is said to expand to catering to more devices and accessories “in the coming months.”
John Swieringa, executive vice president of operations of Dish Network, said the following in a statement: “Fixing your phone shouldn’t mean losing your phone for days on end. So we come to you – whether you’re at the office, the gym, or even the coffee shop.”
Any resident located within one of the 50 states of the United States, Dish Network subscriber or note, can make the appointment to fix the iPhone screen seven days a week. The firm also offers same-day and next-day availabilities, and guarantees that all the work they put into the smartphone will have a 60-day warranty.
“Instead of paying $650 or more to replace a smartphone, our technicians step in to extend the life of the phone when a screen shatters or a battery loses its charge,” Swieringa added. The prices for the services that will be rendered depend on the handset model along with the required repairs. For battery replacement, it costs $74.99 across the board, while installing a new screen on the Apple smartphone will cost you $134.99 to $184.99. For a complete overhaul, which means changing the battery and fixing the screen, it comes somewhere between the prices of $174.98 and $224.98. All of these costs will include a $35 “Drive to Me Fee” which covers one or more services during a single visit.
Aside from requests from residents, Dish Network will also be able to help businesses, which makes it easier for companies to have large-scale iPhone rehabilitation done for enterprise smartphones as well as their employees’ personal mobile devices.
