It would seem that HTC is not tired of teasing about their latest flagship phone as they have once again done so in a recent Twitter tweet. In the tweet, there is an image to what would seem like the camera lens found installed on a smartphone. At the bottom of the image, there is a text that reads “Cameras10.” Then, there is a text on the tweet that says “World First, World Class, Front and Back. You’ll see. #powerof10.” The front and back statement could probably mean the front and rear cameras which is commonly found in many of today’s smartphones. As to how powerful they are, we can only wait.

HTC Teasing More About the Power of 10

HTC had begun teasing about the “Power of 10” back in early March to promote as to what is believed to be the company’s next flagship phone. It is also believed that this new smartphone will be the successor to the HTC One (M9) model.

As per Evan Blass, who often shows leaks about tech gadgets via his Twitter page and his online articles, the new flagship smartphone will simply be called the “HTC 10,” hence the “Power of 10” slogan. Within the latest teaser, it is clear that it is regarding the phone’s cameras. These snappers have been linked to a rumor that the new phone will have optical image stabilizers for both its front and rear cameras. If this is true, then this will truly be a world first.

The company also launched a recent campaign on its Facebook page that is directed to the Taiwanese market. The title of the campaign is called “countdown to 10,” and it will run until April 15th of this year. This also leads to more speculations, especially pertaining about the new model to be unveiled sometime in April or a bit later than that.

Said campaign asks users to post sentences that are inspired by the “Power of 10” slogan. The sentences should also include the word “shi,” which means 10 in Chinese. At the moment, the prize for winning the campaign is kept inside closed doors but it would be exciting to know if the grand reward is that of the new flagship phone.

Besides the teaser of the camera, HTC also teased by way of an older Twitter tweet about the new smartphone. In that tweet, it only says “#powerof10” then there is an image that would seem like the form factor of a smartphone. Time will only tell when the firm will unveil this much teased flagship phone to the world.
