HTC has a smartphone product line which is called Desire and this one particular product line existed since the year 2010. The Desire line of HTC is branded as an affordable smartphones.
Over the years HTC release different kinds of product model under the Desire line. For instance, the Desire 612 and Desire 510 although they are the same in such a way that the two device are coming from the Desire line but the two phones does not have the same personality.
While the Desire 612 has a great personality and impressive, the Desire 510 on the other hand is a synonym to disappointment.
For the year 2015 HTC come up with its newest Desire smartphone. Apart from it has an impressive exterior the new handset also offers quality. More than that the Sense Software technology of HTC is also feature in the new phone. Although HTC didn’t provide detailed information of the phones availability but one thing is certain, the new Desire phones will be out this summer.
The latest Desire phones will all run with the Android 5.1 and there’s more the phones is also geared with the latest version of the company’s Sense Software. This means that the new smartphones will feature a lot of software inclusions that includes but not limited to new themes, app suggester, camera and gallery apps, and enhanced Blinkfeed news feed.
THE DESIRE 626 AND DESIRE 626S
The standout Desire phone is the 626/626s because of its performance, it attracts attention. Meanwhile the latest Desire phones are all geared with a primary camera of 8 megapixel while the the selfie cameras are ar 2 megapixels.
The 626 means it is a postpaid while the 626S means prepaid. However, the both variants are desirable because of its body and the personality it project. When it comes to the display the 626 has a 5-inch, 720p screen, and 16GB of storage in the postpaid variant, 8GB in the prepaid variant. Storage expansion is also supported because of the handset’s MicroSD card slot. The RAM is offered at 1GB.
THE DESIRE 526 AND DESIRE 520
There is a Desire phone model which is exclusive with Verizon it is the Desire 526. The phone boasts 1.5GB of RAM which will make upgrade easier for new Android versions. There is also the Desire 520.
Both the 526 and 520 are offered in matte black plastic ovals. In terms of the display fro this variants it has a 4.7-inch, 960-by-540 LCD screen. The memory is at 8 GB and also supports storage expansion via microSD card slot and RAM at 1GB.
In terms of the exterior the Desire 520 is not impressive and it is not attractive at all. What can you expect from this variant is that it looks generic and cheap. The handset doesn’t have the premium look and touch.
PERFORMANCE OF THE DESIRE VARIANTS
HTC opted to power all their latest Desire devices with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor running at 1.1 GHz. This one particular spec will be the first in the US market retail.
