If you want to save some space while also wanting to bring better quality to your TVs natural audio system, then you’d best try out the Geneva Model Cinema. It is placed at a price point that is hardly chump change, but it has the looks and performance levels to justify every penny you spend on it. It has a superior design and an awesome sound quality, and there’s the usual amount of goodies thrown into the mix such as Bluetooth and digital audio processing.

Geneva Model Cinema Review - Rescuing Your TV's Awful Sound

The Geneva Model Cinema Brings Powerful Audio But at a Steep Price Tag

The Swiss manufacturer has a knack for creating high-quality products, and that continues on with the Geneva Model Cinema. This aspect is particularly evident for its minimalistic design that also looks every bit as luxurious as with its price tag. Nonetheless, it is indeed a cut above most soundbars that you can find in today’s market.

Not only does it look gorgeous, but it is also solidly built. The robust MDF cabinet is finished with either black or white matte paint (depending on your model). It has rounded edges, a discreet logo of the company at the front face, and touch sensitive buttons found at the top of the unit. It sits on four thick rubber feet which supports TVs of up to 25-kilograms.

While its design is quite pleasing to the eyes, there is a lack of HDMI sockets at the back. This is a let-down especially considering the amount of cash you have to get to acquire this thing. Instead, connectivity will get you optical, coaxial, and analogue RCA inputs, and also a 3.5-millimeter minijack. It also comes with Bluetooth connectivity so if you want to play music from your mobile phone, this feature makes it nice and easy to do.

When it comes to audio, the Model Cinema is a superb performer in that regard. It immediately defies its compact and slender proportions with its huge, room-filling soundstage. It has been blessed with large dynamics and a whole lot of bass. However, bass levels are not so deep as to cover out the other areas of the audio spectrum. As such, there is still that level of finesse at play which very few soundbars can come up to par with.

The Geneva Model Cinema can even stay composed at high volumes as there are no distortions found, or rather heard. Overall, it may be a bit pricey than your average soundbar, but it immediately justifies the costs with its luxurious design and powerful audio performance.
