The iPad Mini will no longer be available in Apple Store and on Apple’s online retail store. The time has come to say goodbye to the modest-sized, budget-priced tablet. However, other premium product lines such as iPad Mini 2 and iPad Mini 3, are what the online and offline retail Apple stores continue to sell along with the larger screen iPad Air and iPad Air 2. All of these products were equipped with a crisper Retina displays.

Starting price of the original Mini was at $249. The lowest price of Apple’s tablet to date. Also, pertaining to the report that Apple will no longer produce and market the iPad Mini the company confirmed it, “Now all models of iPad Mini and iPad Air have 64-bit Apple-designed CPUs and high-resolution Retina displays,” an Apple spokesperson said.

It was remembered that in October 2012, the iPad Mini was first introduced. This is when the time when smartphone are starting to have a supersized screens. What sets apart the iPad Mini is its 7.9-inch screen from the iPad’s original display at 9.7-inch.
