Acer Announces New Notebooks to Add to Their Product Line

Let’s start with the Acer Chromebook 14 for Work; it has a durable Gorilla Glass case, a spill-resistant keyboard, and it claims that users will be able to use the device without having it plugged into a wall socket for a solid 12 hours of battery life from a full charge. Furthermore, do not let the name fool you as this is not just something of a rebrand for the existing Chromebook 14. The tech company may have created what could be the most powerful Chromebook to-date.

The most modest configuration of the Chromebook 14 for Work has an Intel Celeron processor, but there are options which include a Skylake Core i3 or i5. Interested purchasers can also beef up its memory up to 8GB of RAM. Even the graphics capabilities of this device can be upgraded to that of Intel’s HD Graphics 520 GPUs.

As for the Acer Aspire S 13 ultrathin, it lives up to its name pretty well. It only weighs 3.13-pounds, but is no pushover when it comes to power. It is powered by 6th Generation Core processors and delivers a full HD IPS display. There are even options for touchscreen functionalities. The base model will have a Core i5 with 4GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD.

For the R 15 convertible, it also bears the ultrathin moniker as that of the Aspire S 13. Furthermore, it is the most tricked out model out of the three mentioned models. It includes 6th Generation Core processors, 12GB of DDR4 memory, the NVIDIA GeForce 940MX GPU, and a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display.

The surprises don’t end there as Acer also updates their consumer notebooks, which includes the F 15. This particular model now has five colors for interested purchasers to choose from. As for the E 14, 15, and 17 models, they have been updated with seven new colors. For the ES 15, it has the latest 6th Generation Intel Core processors, as well as three new colors. Aside from these updates, another device announced by the company in the same event is that of the Switch Alpha 12, which is a silent, liquid-cooled laptop.
