The YU Yuphoria a new phone which is a product launched by Micromax’s online venture YU Televentures it is the second phone that comes after YU Yureka. This phone will be available in two colors the Buffed Steel with black cover and Champagne Gold with white cover and will go on sale on May 28.
YU Yuphoria’s Design and Key Components
What makes YU Yuphoria attractive is that it has a metallic frame that stand out. The rear cover is removable which is contrived of plastic which is also covered with a matte finish. Although the cover seems to be delicate but the phone’s rounded metallic frame provides great handgrip.
The 3.5mm audio jack is on the top of the phone while the microUSB charging port is at the base of this phone. The YU Yuphoria’s camera is surrounded by a mettalic rings and on its left side is a LED flash unit which is located in the centre of the top half region of the rear side. More than that you will also find grills which is meant for speakers and the YU branding at the base.
Display
The YU Yuphoria is geared with a 5-inch HD display with an impressive protection in a form of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The fully laminated display of YU Yuphoria provides lucidity under sunlight. Aside from that the YU Yuphoria has a good viewing angles because of IPS panel. The display is undeniably dynamic.
Internal Components, OS
The YU Yuphoria is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC which houses a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad core processor along with Adreno 306 GPU.
It has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Expansion of storage is supported via microSd slots.
The YU Yuphoria runs with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS that is also pre-loaded with Cyanogen 12.
Connectivity
The YU Yuphoria is packed with dual-SIM configuration. Other than it has Wifi 802.11n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and sensors such as a gyroscope, compass, proximity sensor this smartphone also supports 4G LTE bands.
Battery
The YU Yuphoria has a removable back 2230mAh battery. Just like any other new smartphones in the market today this smartphone also supports fast charging which offers 0 to 65% in span of 45 minute as claimed by the company.
Camera
This phone is geared with two cameras as for its primary shooter it has an 8 megapixel camera that comes with an f/2.2 aperture and has a 1.4 micrometer pixel size.
The secondary selfie shooter has a 5 megapixel camera a f/2.0 aperture and a wide angle lens.
This smartphone can also capture and record full HD videos aside from that also supports slow motion (120fps and more) movies.
