It is uncommon to have specs and benchmark results leak before the actual image of a smartphone would pop up inside the intricacies that is the World Wide Web, and the latest one to grace that thought is that of a Sony Xperia smartphone. At the time of writing, said handset is currently unnamed but it does have a system build of 23UJ95LH34QX77B1, according to the recent leak. Of course, trying to say that long name is not a requirement (nor does it roll of the tongue quite easily), many are sure that it will receive a name change before it will hit the market. But when it comes to what it would look like, well, that may be saved for another story, for another time and another date.
Unannounced Sony Xperia Smartphone Only Known as 23UJ95LH34QX77B1 So Far
But it doesn’t mean that there is no other information available about the upcoming Sony Xperia phone (besides its long codename). It has been listed with a 5.1-inch full-HD panel, which means that there will be no 2K display on this one but it will only sport a maximum resolution of 1080p. That being said, the benchmark results reports that it’s going to be quite fast thanks to 2016’s chip of choice for many smartphones the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. Furthermore, that processing unit will be mated to 3GB of RAM and it will have 32GB of built-in storage. However, according to the GFXBench listing, it will only have 20GB of usable built-in storage out of the box.
Aside from what is listed for the unnamed Xperia phone’s hardware specs, the benchmark also lists the usual array of sensors such as NFC and a single SIM card slot. These could also mean that this might be only one of a series of handsets.
Last but not the least that has been found in the leaked benchmark results are information about its cameras. It has been listed with 21-megapixel and 13-megapixel imaging sensors. Furthermore, it has been said that it will come with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow from the onset. These are the only data available and there is a lot of blanks to fill during the coming months. However, it is clear that this unnamed phone will be placed in a high-end midranger price point.
At the time of writing, there has been no mention of a Sony Xperia smartphone carrying these specs in anywhere else over the Internet. Therefore, it is still quite a mystery as to what its final name would be or what it would look like.
