What’s New in Video Games for March 2016?
The first on the list for new video games for March 2016 is Far Cry Primal. Available for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, it takes a whole new approach to the widely popular Far Cry franchise. Instead of being set in modern times, Primal takes place back in 10,000 B.C.. Therefore, your “aces up your sleeve” (if you had any) will be the likes of hand-crafted spears, bows and arrows, and the like. You will spend some time running through humanity’s really violent pre-history as you take on Sabertooth tigers and cannibals; both of which are set out to eat you. This particular title was just recently released on the 1st of March.
The next item on this list is The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. Go back to the kingdom of Hyrule as you save the world from the Twilight Realm, which is a parallel dimension that is slowly eating away at the known world. You will take control of Link once more to assist the mysterious figure known as Midna along with a magical ability to transform Link into a wolf. While not terribly new as this was originally a Nintedo Wii title, the newer graphics, along with additional support from Amiibos, will make this game a worthy get for any Legend of Zelda fan.
Those who are fans of the Marvel universe should also pay attention to Disney Infinity 3.0: Marvel Battlegrounds. For this video game, it adds a whole new beat-em-up inspired features to the Disney Infinity franchise. Here, you will take control of either heroes or villains then face off within battle arenas that can support up to four players. If you’re a fan of arena-based brawlers such as Super Smash Bros., then Marvel Battlegrounds is certainly worth the look. It will be available on multiple platforms, namely for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and on Android and iOS devices.
